Five little owls on a moonlit night five little owls are quite a sight :) End of August Whimsy Inspiration :)

Hello everyone !!!

Are you ready for some fun ?!
Do you remember that?
One of favourite fingerplays from my childhood :)

"Five little owls on a moonlit night five little owls are quite a sight.
Five little owls Are you keeping score?

One flew away! And then there were four.
Four little owls Happy as can be,
One flew away! Then there were three.
Three little owls Calling "Whoo! Whoo!"
One flew away! And that left two.
Two little owls having lots of fun.
One flew away! And that left one.
One little owl we’re  almost done.
He flew away! And that leaves none."

And here is my inspiration with OWL of course !!!

For my card I have used digital stamp designed by Kathryne.

You can find it on Whimsy Stamps Online Shop.

The Many Colors of Hope

Hello everyone!!  It's Audrey from the Digital DT here with you today to share my latest creation using one of the fabulous August Digi New Releases found at the Whimsy Stamps Store.   Remember that all Whimsy Stamps digital images are 300dpi for high print quality.  You can re-size, flip, or rotate to fit your own project.   To find all of the digital images available, please visit the Whimsy Stamps Store.

Also, don't forget to enter our Current Challenge - BACK TO SCHOOL you have until September 2 to come play along!!

My creation today uses Hope from the Marika Collins Collection found at Whimsy Stamps Store.   I love this image for a few reasons: 1. because it's gorgeous just like all the images in the Marika Collins Collection and 2. because it's so versatile.  You can color the ribbon any color you like to represent different causes.  For me, the cause I find myself representing most often is Austism because my oldest daughter is on the Autistic Spectrum.  The Autism Awareness ribbon features different colored puzzle pieces and so I drew lines with my fine point Copic black pen in the ribbon in shapes like puzzle pieces.  Image is colored with Copics and cut out with Nestie.  For additional details, please visit my blog.  Sure hope you like it!
Hugs and have a great day!!

Sending smiles......

Gina here today to share a little gift bag I made using one the new images over at Whimsy Stamps called Maggie.

I watercolored this image on some 90lb watercolor paper using distress inks and a water brush.  After I finished I added a little bit of sparkle with a Wink of Stella Clear glitter brush pen.

I also added a few sequins and then a sentiment from Lawn Fawn.

Such a fun project and something a little different to give with a sweet gift.

Hope you enjoyed checking this out, please check out this image, Maggie that was released in August and lots of other great images and stamps at Whimsy Stamps.

Happy Friday and have a craft weekend.

"Valou", "Summer Time"

Good morning all!

Valou here for my Inspirational Post.

I used some paper " white Bazzil Cardstock " and some paper " Kaisercraft ", collection " True Romance ". Edges are used with "Old Distresser".

I used an image " Stampart by Kathryne " of "Whimsy Stamps".

I colorized it in the following way:

- Ink "Distress Tattered Rose" and "Distress Vintage Photo" for the skin.
- Ink "Distress Antique Linen" and "Distress Brushed Corduroy" for hair.
- Ink "Distress Picked Raspberry".
- Ink "Distress Salty Ocean".
- Ink "Distress Victorian Velvet".
- Ink "Distress Walnut Stain".
- Ink "Distress Mowed Lawn".
- Pencil yellow watercolor.

Under the image, I stuck of the pink lace and some ribbon " white Organza ". I realized a knot with the same ribbon and I stuck it to the left of my image.

For the decoration, I added the following flowers:

- Big foam white rose.
- Pink Rose ( 2 tones) (30 mm).
- Pink Rose and cream (15 mm).
- Die-cut realized with a dies "Marianne Designs".

Thank you for your passage here and wishes you an excellent day!
