Frosty the Snowmen Inspirational Post

Here is my version of Frosty with his Girlfriend enjoying the evening out, looking at stars. This adorable Snowmen is designed by LiaStampz, which you can find here. I began coloring the Snowmen using my prismacolor pencils and added white glitter flocking for the snowmen. You can find complete instructions here.

Snowmen

Oh I can't tell you how much fun this was to color.  These snow people are the best! They are by LiaStampz and can be found right here.  I colored them with my Copic markers and then cut them out with Nestibilities.  I used Distressed White Frantage on everything before assembling.  I thought they needed some wintery trees so cut some out and pop dotted them up for some dimension. Finally put it all on craft paper and called it finished.

This card is so timely as I hear there were snow flurries in Omaha this morning at 1:30 A.M.  Needless to say, I missed them.  That is fine with me!  But tomorrow we are back to mild weather for a few days!  YEAH!  Oh but the leaves are falling fast and furious.  The trees were so pretty this fall.  I don't remember such a pretty fall for a very long time.

Until next time, Happy trails to you

Snowman Hold My Heart!

Hello everyone! Kelly from the design team here with a Christmas card (every year I say I'm going to start making my Christmas cards really early and I never do!). Here is one I have finished featuring 'snowman hold my heart' by Crissy Armstrong. My cute little stocking sentiment is part of the 'Christmas stocking sentiment' set from Whimsy Stamps and I cut it out using the matching die. I have also used some of the shapeology dies; 'country heart', 'lace doily corner', 'holly and berries' and 'Christmas tree'.

Have a great day everyone!

Crafty Squirrel

Hi All,

It's Marjolein here with this super cute squirrel. I have a lot of crafty friends and knitting and crocheting is very populair in Holland right know. So this digi image is one I can use for many cards....

The image is called Crafty Squirrel and is designed by Miss Rach for Whimsy. You can find the image HERE in the Whimsy Stamp Store. Because of the cute image, I kept the rest of the card very clean and simple. Hopefully I did inspire you with my card, wishing you a crafty weekend!!!!

Hugs,
Marjolein

Fall Maples Leaves

Hello - MichelleO here today to show you a card I did for the challenge - I wanted share how fun the new artist is  -

AshlanValor Tangles - you can see all of her new images HERE. I used "Fall Maple Leaf" I printed three leaves - and colored with my Copics. (colors below) I then printed out a sentiment and then colored it with three copic colors I used in the leaves... then blended them. I kept things as simple as I could. Brown card stock base. Olive Green card stock sanded. I doodled the lines around the edges.

Then went to work on my leaves again - I love this technique... and these leaves really sparked the dusty cobwebs in the back of my brain to pull it all out. I cut out the leaves after colored. I press them upside down onto the VersaMark stamp pad to get them juicy. Then sprinkle with clear embossing powder. Heat... while still hot sprinkle again.... and then one more.... the last time I added just a bit of Iridescent embossing powder for some added sparkle to them.

They become quite hard and have a great sheen to them.

Colors used -

Hope you enjoyed and I do hope you go and see all the great new images from AshlanValor Tangles - you can see all of her new images HERE.
